Richard has worked in the digital security and fraud prevention industry for more than 15 years. Through his work, he has had exposure to the criminal underground seeing the societal impact of organised digital crime. He has also worked with international bodies such as the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children, seeing firsthand the risk posed by the online world to the youth of today. While living in the UK, Richard was a member of the ISC2’s Safe and Secure Online program and after moving to Australia in 2013 he led RSA Security’s Cyber Safety for Kids program across Asia. Richard’s passion for trust in a digital world is demonstrated outside of his work too, where he is an active campaigner on social media for creating a safer internet for children and youth. Regularly volunteering to speak at schools, work places and parent groups, Richard shares a deep sense of responsibility in sharing his knowledge with others.
