Year 11 Marine Science spend the day on Waterloo Bay

On Friday 14 February, the Year 11 Marine Science students headed out on Waterloo Bay on board the Moreton Bay Environmental Education Centre (MBEEC) Vessel to assess the water quality at three sites.

Ormiston College choir members perform in State Honours Ensemble Program, Griffith University

Junior School, Music

Ormiston College Junior School choir students from Year 4 and Year 5 represented the College at this year’s Primary SHEP (State Honours Ensemble Program). They joined ensembles of over 100 students, singing songs from around the world, songs from across time, and in particular, songs by renowned Australian composers.

Award for UQ Science Ambassadors

Our Year 11 UQ Science Ambassadors worked tirelessly throughout 2019 promoting Science activities and events. Their efforts were recently acknowledged when we received news that they had won the award for the ‘Best Ambassador School’ (Metro Queensland).
