The Junior Social Justice committee was very excited to raise funds for the Make a Wish Foundation. The Make a Wish Foundation supports children with life threatening illnesses by granting them wishes which gives them hope for the future, strength to face the challenges of their illness and a little joy from their incredible wish experience.
We were very lucky to have two razor scooters and a pedal car donated to us. These prizes created a hive of activity each morning and we were overwhelmed by how many tickets we sold. Our lucky winners were Ava Hurley (Year3), Jade Peters (Year6) and Lachlan Burke (Year4).
We were very proud to donate a cheque for $872 to the make a wish foundation which will bring a little sunshine into a sick child’s day.
