Middle School students inspired by Motivational Media presentations

"Little things count, start small’, is just one quote spoused in the motivational media presentation where we were introduced to some ordinary people doing extraordinary things - everyday heroes. We were inspired by just a few amazingly self-driven people and motivated by some great quotes.

"Do not fear the tough times" and "When we work as one we are stronger" are some encouraging statements shown throughout the media and this has motivated us to display these things in real life. – Charlotte Lane, Year 7

Football has been my passion since I was five years old. Along my football journey I have faced many rejections from countless tryouts for teams. It was when I was put into division 5 that I was motivated to train harder and earned a place in a Division 2 team, so I knew that I was improving. This reminds me of a quote from the Rocky movie “It’s not about how hard you hit, it's how you hard you get hit and keep moving forward - That's how winning is done". I am now training with an elite training academy and for the Youdan cup in July in England and while I am there I'm hoping to be scouted for a European team. My dream is to become a professional football player. – Harry Smith, Year 9
