The Junior Support Group held the first ever Run4Fun Colour Explosion last Friday 12 October. We were grateful that the rain held off, enabling 400 students to enjoy a fabulous afternoon. Parents and staff joined in the fun, spraying water and squirting coloured powder over the runners, who then completed a number of laps of an obstacle course around the oval. Music, laughter, squeals of delight and powdered colour filled the air and resulted in many tired but happy and colourfully dirty children.
This new initiative by the Junior Support Group was an extremely successful fundraising event raising over $10,000 for JSG funds. A big thank you to all the children who participated, to the parents and community who supported this fundraiser so generously and to our volunteers who gave up their time to lend a hand on the day.
