OC Swim Academy and Learn to Swim Program

The Ormiston College Swim Academy is where our students, families, staff and members of the public come together to enjoy swimming in an inclusive, positive and friendly environment. Members of the general public are warmly invited to join us!

We believe swimming is a life skill and should be enjoyed by everyone, from infants to masters swimmers, and from those who swim for fun or to keep fit to competitive swimmers.

Our focus is on:

• swimmers of all ages and levels participating in a fun and positive environment
• swim training to develop technique and fitness, including land training
• striving for personal best for each swimmer, including higher-level opportunities for focused competitors.

Programs

We offer a range of programs year round in our outdoor heated 25 metre pool and indoor heated learn to swim facility, including:

• Learn to swim (from four months), stroke development and stroke correction.
• Senior squads – free of charge for Ormiston College students
• Adult squad
• Intensive programs
• Holiday camps
• Special events such as 100 x 100s, open water swimming and 'Hell Week'.

Pricing

Learn to Swim and Stroke Development – Parent & Baby, Parent & Toddler, Beginners, Arms, Breathers, Junior Dolphins, Dolphins, Stingrays

1 session/week $198 (for 10 week term)
2 sessions/week $297 (for 10 week term)

Squad training - Mini, Junior, Transition and Senior Squads*

1 session/week $165 (for 10 week term)
2 or more sessions/week $260 (for 10 week term)

*Senior Squad - no charge for Ormiston College students

Adult Squad

Monthly pass (unlimited sessions) $88
Casual - 10 session pass $130

Private lessons

$40 (30 minutes)

Payment terms

Payment is required prior to commencement of sessions.
All bookings are non-refundable.
Make-up sessions must be taken before end of term.
The pool is closed on public holidays.
Rates are inclusive of GST where applicable.

Location

Our Aquatic Centre is located at Ormiston College, 97 Dundas Street West, Ormiston. Access to the Aquatic Centre is via 124 Sturgeon Street, Ormiston.
